In 36 hours, we hopefully will be flying the friendly skies. Though its a solo flight, I'm less worried about this flight than others before it. He's old enough on this trip to be reasoned with or bribed with candy or cookies in the event of a meltdown. And he's old enough for projects and lots of cartoons.
What started out 2 years ago as purely a diaper bag stuffed to the brim with a dozen diapers, multiple changes of clothes and multiple bottles has finally evolved into 1 sippy cup, 2 pull-ups, 2 pair of underwear (still several changes of clothes) and books. I've also got stickers, magnets, crayons, Color Wonder markers, glue sticks, paper-bag puppets, playdough - I'm a one woman Michael's store.
Here's hoping for no nightmares on the red eye!
