Before and After

When we bought our house in Fremont earlier this year, the inside of the house was fantastic, but the back yard was a complete wreck. So for the past 6 months, I have been slowly raking up all the mulch in the back yard and hauling it out to the street...one garbage can load at a time. Then last month, we finally got a contractor in to do all the heavy lifting and finish the job:

We also got the pool finished at the same time and also laid over 900sqft of concrete. We still have some landscaping to do, but all in all, I think it looks great.
