Sunday night, the kiddo sat down after dinner. I got concerned and got the thermometer. He was at 101. Ten minutes later, he was at 103. Monday and Tuesday, he's hovered in the 102-103 range, jumping to 104 for a brief time. No runny nose. No cough. He actually seems to feel pretty good and is in good spirits but we can't leave the house. The fever broke today but we're going to hang around the house 1 more day to be on the safe side.
So we've turned into a 2-man arts and crafts studio. We've squirted ice with colored water, made a table-top sandbox out of rice, glued macaroni to plates, painted, colored, playdoughed and anything else I can come up with to keep him occupied. Tomorrow, I'm thinking something with cotton balls.
