A Eulogy for Our Dearly Departed Calliou - Month 28

I'm sad to report that our beloved little bald boy Calliou is no longer our friend. Sure, we still stop by and see him every now and then but Johnathan started making more decisions for himself and he has decided that Calliou is out and Zak, Wheezy, Ord and Cassie are in. Who are they - the cast of Dragontales. So all of our wonderful lessons that we learned from our little friend Calliou - like how to take medicine, and what an airplane ride is and how to play nice on the playground have been replaced by two kids who fly into an imaginary world to play with flying dragons and things like jingle flowers or get paint at rainbow canyon.

Granted, this may be partly my fault, I did actively turn it on.

But we've been trying to figure out his breathing issues for a couple of weeks and any activity just knocks him down and we nearly ended up in the ER one evening after going to the zoo. Top that off with a nasty cold that turned into a sinus infection and lung issue. So now we're like a walking pharmacy of antibiotics, asthma-like inhalers (that really should be relabeled baby's first bong) and nasal spray. So yeah, we turned on the TV a little more this month. Usually about the time that I ran out of ideas like - let's make a tent!

So that's been month 28. And he learned to sing his ABCs.
