I don't know what happened - he slept (he must have known we were desperate). He ate quickly at his evening feeds and went straight back down and woke up for the day at 8:02 am - happy! The result is a happy well rested family who took advantage of the day and did some sightseeing in Berkeley and the Marin Headlands.
