Two Babies + 1 Restaurant = 1 Messy Table

More on the Floor
As an early birthday gift to me (hint hint hint), a girlfriend offered to take me and Johnathan and her son all out to lunch. Just going out with Johnathan is still a stressful ordeal since he won't eat anything off the menu and we have to pack his lunch (nope - no chicken nuggets for him - though its not for trying). And sitting still for an hour can be daunting for a little guy with a lot of energy and a bumm butt to boot (long story). But overall it wasn't bad. We went as soon as they opened and were the only ones in the restuarant for a long time. We both enjoyed out lunch. No one had to be taken out. And the floor got most of the lunch - wish I'd had my camera. We might be about to embark on a new experience - lunching with friends......

New 'do
Look closely at the above picture and you'll see Johnathan's first haircut. We went to the specialized kiddie place with toys and cartoons but the kid wasn't fooled. The stylist came at him with the clippers and he nearly climbed out of the seat and started wailing. We got it cut, but with the scissors, which unnerved me. I've decided since I do all of the appointments with shots, Ben will now be doing haircuts on the weekends.

A campsite
This picture was from this weekend before all of the storms that sparked 800 wildfires in CA. This was the last time we've really been able to go outside because of all of the smoke. It smells like we are living next to a campfire. No walks. Short park visits and little playing outside - especially in the mornings. Ben and I have both woken up in the middle of the night coughing and thinking that the house next door is on fire the smoke is so bad.
