When we told Johnathan that today was his last day of school before Christmas break he was very excited - not for the Christmas party at school, not for getting two weeks off - but because in his mind, it was Christmas and it was going to snow - now.
We've been gently telling him that its most likely not going to snow. We assumed he just really like sledding and remembers it from last year.
Tonight I learned the real story: He was gravely concerned that Santa could not land his sleigh on the roof without snow. And he was concerned that Santa would crash and hurt the reindeer.
We have now had a discussion about sleigh mechanics.
I have a practical and logical child.
