Thank Goodness

Thank goodness:

For extra mattress pads (I was beginning to wonder if it had just been a waste of money).
For Popsicles
For the 24-hour PBS station
For friends who will go to the store for you in the rain for Gatorade and saltines with their own two kids and who will drop off a bag of M&Ms the next day because they know you need to smile.
For doctor's offices that have their own room to get rehydrated in that come with TVs/VCRs and Pixar movies and a choice of beverages (not just pedialyte).
For husbands who bring home a bigger pizza at night than you expected so you'll have a really quick lunch the next day that your kid hates.
And for a cold beer at the end of the day.
