One month into the "terrible two's" and so far, they aren't that terrible. Why? He's become a real little person.
- He's fully potty trained, no accidents, no pullups.
- He loves to be the center of attention.
- He loves birthday parties.
- He wakes up singing and sings all the time - "The Wheels on the Bus" is a favorite.
- Asks "why" all the time.
- Has become slightly afraid of monsters. Apparently the red, white and blue monsters that live in trees and go "squeak/squeak" only come out when its dark.
- He can hike like a real person running full steam ahead wondering what's up ahead rather than picking up every little thing.
- He's starting to pretend to be different animals. Some days he'll come in roaring like a lion or growling like a bear.
- Loves to swim and can kick pretty good.
- Favorite sayings include: "thank you so much"; "of course"
Note: Both of the above pictures were taken today - the hike this morning in fleece and the swimming this afternoon. Only in California.

I was glad to learn that monsters live at WalMart. I've always thought something weird was going on there.
