This weekend was filled with treats. He stayed up late camping, got up early. Ate fun sugary treats like smores and cinnamon rolls. He maintained his best behavior while we had our friends over on Saturday night and made us look like great parents.
And then he crashed. About 1/2 mile into a nice leisurely hike and picnic this morning for Father's Day along the Bay with great views and beautiful weather. He was done. He had behaved as long as he could so he just sat down and didn't want to move. So the great Father's Day Hike wasn't quite a relaxing as had been planned.
The afternoon fared a little better and daddy even snuck in a little nap.
