And my how time flies!
No pictures yet because I don't know where the transfer cable is for the camera but pictures do exist.
We're currently in our little rental and for what we are paying, we got a deal. We overlook the intercoastal and are 1 block from the beach. Even more conveniently, there is a foreclosed condo beside us which offers awesome covered parking perfect for scootering. And across the street is a little pier that has "the biggest crab in the whole world" living under it.
We've looked a dozens of houses and have it narrowed down to 3. One is 1.5 blocks from the beach and 1.5 blocks from the pool and one is 3 blocks from the beach AND across the street from the pool. Decisions, decisions. Part of me thinks it was easier in California when we didn't have time to think about it. You walked in and if you liked it you wrote an offer. We will make our final decision this weekend.
Haven't killed Ben yet on the working from home thing. So far, even in our tiny rental he's been able to separate himself. Though apparently things got better when we invested in a $29 desk from WalMart. Apparently, working from the bottom bunk of a bunk bed just didn't cut it.
Johnathan has taken the move in stride. He's looked at a house with us and understands that where we are currently living is temporary. I can tell he misses being with kids though since tonight when we were walking through 1 potential new neighborhood and stopped to talk with a couple with kids, he nearly attacked a 5 year old and declared her his new best friend and invited her over to play. Slow down kiddo. He's got camp at his preschool in 1 more week so that should help. It also helped that we saved all his birthday presents until we arrived here and he's been inundated with new toys. That coupled with the fact that the car arrived yesterday along with the duffle of old toys I had packed for the summer has him quite happy and secure.
And oh yeah.....It's Another Boy! Who is already a fantastic kid. Every now and then he tells me to slow down and take a nap but other than that...this pregnancy has been a breeze.
