Not mama, not dada -the first word is definitely bye-bye.
We've been hearing him practice it and he'd also been practicing waving but this morning he put it all together.
He was happily playing at his little table as Ben left for work. As usual, Ben exaggerated saying bye-bye and waved. Johnathan turned, held up his right fist and waved back. We both went nuts!
Then as Ben closed the door, Johnathan crawled over as fast as he could, looked at the door and said bye bye.
And then promptly burst into tears.
