Is it wrong that after Ben and I leave the kiddo with a babysitter for the evening he gets up from his dinner and gives her a big hug and kiss? Yep - no tears just hugs and kisses. Huh? Is he thinking - thank goodness, someone else for a change?
Ok, so there was a little bribing going on. He had his favorite foods for dinner (bananas, cheese and tortillas) and he's quite familiar with the babysitter. But we were still shocked. It was the first time someone other than family had put him to bed (we usually sneak out afterwards).
Ben and I got to enjoy dinner and a show in the city and Ben got all day Saturday to himself.
