Everyone Ate With Their Own Forks

Mealtime with Johnathan has been a two spoon event for a few months now - one for him and one for us. Tonight, we dropped him down to just him holding the spoon. He completely fed himself - an amazingly pretty well too. Not finger food.....cottage cheese, pureered spinach among the spoon food. We all sat around the table and everyone got to eat a hot meal at the same time (we had chicken and corn - I'm not eating cottage cheese for dinner). Now if we could just get him to eat our food at dinner, we'd be good. But I really think he isn't broadening his horizons because he really likes to feed himself. He was so proud. Every bite he took, he giggled and grinned and very little ended up on his bib or on the table.
