Traveling at Christmas through Chicago without a stroller? Stupid or Smart? (but we do have a backpack)

1 roll of tape
2 sets of stickers

1 light up swirly flashy thing
3 clicky pen lights
1 magnadoodle
1 scarf
1 kiddie phone
1 frog keychain
crayons and tablet
8 paperback books
6 shirts & 2 pair of pants (damn drool!)
10 diapers
Plus lots of food (grapes, apples, raisins, banana, pineapple, crackers, cookies, goldfish, fruit gels, cereal, oatmeal bars and yogurt melts) and our first flight with lollipops but our first flight without pacis.

And in a separate "we got stuck in the airport bag for a really long layover" - 1 tub playdough, 1 new matchbox car, 1 egg silly putty, 1 blow up mini beach ball, 1 punch ball.

And yep, this is all in 1 diaper bag! I refuse to be the mom who gives up - sometimes it takes every bit of this to keep him occupied for the 12+ hour trip (8 of which is confined on my lap).
