Today's big adventure - upscale dining at a spa - with an infant. Granted, we went on a Monday...at lunch...before prime time....on a full baby belly. I was rewarded with the first meal with Johnathan that we've eaten out that required the use of utensils. AND I got to eat the whole thing without a peep from him and enjoyed the fabulous view overlooking the Monterrey Bay.
Now we didn't just go to the spa to eat...I spent the afternoon in sheer bliss and he spent it with dad looking at fish on the wharf in Santa Cruz. Not many sea lions this time of year, unfortunately.
Not a bad birthday at all - even if it was a big one.
