He Was On the Floor...

At 6 am, after a long and peaceful night we hear "Help, Johnathan get up".

Apparently, at some point in the night he fell off the bed. He wasn't crying. He didn't say he fell off. And we heard no thud. But he was out and wanted back in (a good sign). We're not sure how long he had been there.

The bizarre part is that he was at the foot of the bed. Odd.

So today as he napped and as I was sitting in the office I heard a thud (but no crying). And about 15 minutes later - another thud. All told - about 5 thuds. I went in a while later to wake him up and solved my mystery!

He was at the foot of the bed, turned around (the way he used to sleep in his crib) and was accidentally kicking the wall since he lays on that side.

The interesting part about all of this big bed stuff is the renewed interest in his sleeping pals (brown doggie, blue doggie and monkey). He's never really mentioned the trio before but now he must have them all in his hands and clutches them - tightly.

This is really going to put a crimp in my "less is more" packing strategy when flying.
